Unfortunately in Malaysia at the moment, there isn’t anywhere for a great shot of espresso except home barista’s home like mine or my fellow mates.

That is because we pay more attention to the small details required to make a better shot. We do the distribution using NSEW or Stockfelth’s move, use a proper stainless tamper, buy freshly roasted beans, etc.

If I recommend, I will say Le Passion @ Sri Hartamas or Espressamente-Illy @ Paviliion for now.

Since u are a coffee conoisseur, can u tell me where to find espresso that has ratings of 5/5 for all the characteristics in it?

It is written “Coming Soon” in their menu, so you will have to check it our yourself to see if it is available now.

FYI, I got a friend that is getting me some sample greens of Kopi Luwak if it can pass through the customs safely using pos delivery. So I can DIY roast myself.

I will say the coffee taste is slightly complex than Illy’s due to the coffee blend. I believe that it contains a small percentage of high quality Robusta, which gives it more body in the crema & more bite.

But there’s no fight with coffee I just tasted from Square Mile, UK. After so much coffees yesterday in the home barista jam at my home, I still don’t get any headache.

Hahaha, probably I can be hired just to pour latte art. I do note there is chocolate sauce bottle for etching over at Le Passion. Maybe other customers can ask for that instead.
