Today, I was invited by KF Chan for a barista jam at a new friend’s place around KL.

There were 9 of us. The numbers of participants for the barista jam has definitely improved each time.

He has a very beautiful looking e61 machine & a strikingly matching grinder as companion.

Fernandos also has a tamping stand, which is also my envy. Regret that I didn’t get one but more importantly, I need a tamping mat as it is cheaper & does the job.

KF Chan tries to overdose & tamping as hard as he can before locking in the portafilter.

Microfrothing with the 2-hole tip is not easy due to the lack of steam power. It is not even on par with Oscar which is odd.

This is the best art I can get since I couldn’t find the sweet spot. So no free pour latte art this time.
